AFFORDABLE GREEN SHOES

Payless Shoes is now going to have green shoes, coming in April 2009! It turns out that Payless is serious about making green shoes that are not only sustainable but also fashionable and affordable.

In the beginning, the shoe line will be just women’s shoes, with men and children’s shoes to follw.  And the price is right, all shoes will sell for under $30!

Payless is trying to make green shoes available to people who have been priced out of the green marketplace.

Not only will the shoes be fashionable, but will be made of organic cotton, linens, hemp and recycled outsoles, as well as using environmentally sustainable packaging.
